Senior Civil Engineer

Civil Project Engineer – Austin, TX (Remote)

We’re working with a well-established, employee-focused engineering firm that is continuing to grow their civil team in Austin. This is a great opportunity for a Civil Project Engineer who enjoys working across a variety of project types and wants exposure to both technical design and project management responsibilities.

This role offers flexibility (remote working opportunity) along with the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio including higher education, healthcare, industrial, municipal, commercial, and mission-critical facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of site development and infrastructure projects
• Manage projects from concept through construction, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Prepare and review construction documents, technical reports, and permit applications
• Design grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and stormwater systems
• Coordinate with clients, architects, surveyors, and regulatory agencies
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients and support project meetings and presentations
• Assist with permitting, zoning compliance, and development approvals
• Support proposals and occasional business development efforts.

What They’re Looking For:

• 8-12 years of civil engineering experience (large site development preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• EIT required (PE or on track is a plus)
• Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Exposure to stormwater/drainage design and modeling (HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, etc.)
• Experience working on a mix of commercial, municipal, or institutional projects
