Empire Fasteners LLC is seeking a driven and highly motivated Sales Account Manager to support and grow customer relationships within the aerospace and defense industry. This role is responsible for managing accounts, quoting opportunities, driving bookings, and expanding revenue through exceptional customer service, urgency, and execution.
This is not an order-taking position — we are looking for someone who can build relationships, move quickly, solve problems, and aggressively grow accounts while operating in a fast-paced environment built on Speed, Reliability, and Growth.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow assigned customer accounts
Handle RFQs, quoting, order management, and customer follow-up
Drive bookings, revenue growth, and gross margin performance
Build relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, procurement teams, and defense contractors
Coordinate closely with purchasing, operations, warehouse, and quality teams
Track and manage open orders, deliveries, expedites, and customer requirements
Identify upsell opportunities, stocking opportunities, LTAs, and new program business
Maintain accurate customer and quote activity within company systems
Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
Follow company standards for response times, quoting urgency, and communication
Qualifications
Sales experience required
Aerospace and defense industry experience preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to multitask and operate with urgency
Strong organizational and follow-up abilities
Self-motivated and results-driven mindset
Knowledge of aerospace hardware, fasteners, or military specifications is a plus
