We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric ICU Registered Nurse to join a behavioral health team in Vallejo, California. This role is ideal for an RN experienced in acute psychiatric care who is committed to maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment for high-acuity behavioral health patients.
Position Overview
Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health status and behavioral condition
Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and care priorities
Develop individualized care plans that prescribe appropriate interventions
Implement and coordinate care delivery to promote patient safety and stabilization
Evaluate patient progress toward established outcomes
Identify and revise patient-centered goals based on clinical presentation
Promote a safe, therapeutic, and structured care environment
Education & Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Psychiatric or behavioral health experience strongly preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Current California RN license: Required
BLS (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS): Required
