We are seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant / Revenue Accounting Manager to join a growing, data-driven organization during an exciting period of transformation. This role will be instrumental in implementing NetSuite from QuickBooks, ensuring revenue recognition is set up correctly under ASC 606, and helping establish strong, scalable GAAP-compliant processes.
The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting foundation, experience working with complex, high-volume transaction environments, and the ability to partner cross-functionally during system and process changes. This role requires both technical excellence and a collaborative, steady leadership style.

Revenue Accounting & GAAP Compliance
Own revenue recognition activities in compliance with ASC 606
Review contracts and billing arrangements to determine proper revenue treatment
Analyze large volumes of transactional data to identify trends, patterns, and risks
Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
Ensure all revenue processes are GAAP-compliant and audit-ready
System Implementation & Process Improvement
Play a lead role in the NetSuite implementation, migrating from QuickBooks
Ensure revenue, billing, and accounting workflows are properly designed from day one
Partner with internal stakeholders to test, document, and optimize new system processes
Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved data accuracy
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Finance, Billing, Operations, and Leadership to support business needs
Serve as a project-management-minded partner during system and process changes
Help coordinate, communicate, and motivate teams through change initiatives
Tools & Data
Manage and analyze large data sets using advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
Utilize financial systems including NetSuite (preferred), QuickBooks, and RAMP
Power BI experience is a strong plus
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
7-10 years of progressive accounting experience (ideal range)

Background in more complex organizations (not limited to small-scale companies)
Proven ability to manage and analyze high volumes of transactions and data
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate financial concepts clearly
Strong tenure history (seeking candidates with stability, not job-hopping)
Preferred
NetSuite implementation or optimization experience
Medical billing or healthcare-related accounting experience (strong plus)
Power BI experience
Prior experience supporting audits or working with auditors
Management or mentoring experience (depending on level)
Personality & Team Fit
Easy-going, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
