As a Retail Account Executive at True Botanicals, you will be the face of our brand on the sales floor within our Chicago retail partners. This is a hands-on, on‑floor retail position — you’ll spend the majority of your time inside stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, and Credo, strategically planning your business, actively engaging with customers, supporting beauty advisors, and ensuring our products shine. Key Responsibilities


1. Sales and Merchandising


  • Spend most of your time on the sales floor, interacting with customers and supporting store teams.
  • Collaborate with retail partners to execute sales strategies that drive in‑store performance.
  • Ensure products are fully stocked, beautifully displayed, and merchandised to brand standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, replenish stock, and optimize product placement.



2. Client Relationship Management


  • Build strong, positive relationships with store managers, beauty advisors, and counter staff across the Chicago market and surrounding areas.
  • Conduct regular in‑store visits to provide training, answer questions, and gather feedback.
  • Partner with your manager and retail teams to create engaging on‑floor events, demos, and promotions.


3. Product Knowledge and Training

  • Become an expert on True Botanicals’ product line, including ingredients, benefits, and usage.
  • Train retail staff on product features, application techniques, and selling points.
  • Lead in‑store product demonstrations and workshops to elevate staff confidence and customer engagement.


4. Sales Targets and Performance

  • Achieve written sales targets for all assigned accounts.
  • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and adjust strategies to maximize in‑store performance.
  • Monitor competitor activity and recommend effective responses.


5. Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure all brand displays meet True Botanicals’ visual guidelines.
  • Execute seasonal updates, promotional setups, and new product launches directly on the sales floor.


6. Reporting and Communication

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and promotional activity.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the Director of Field Sales and Education
  • Report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity specific to the Chicago market.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of experience as an Account Executive.
  • Esthetics license highly desirable.
  • Strong background in retail sales, ideally in beauty or cosmetics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with retail partners.
  • Genuine passion for luxury skincare and enthusiasm for being on the sales floor.

Salary Range: $85,000-$90,000 + monthly bonus potential
