The Remote Call Center Agent position is a 100% remote entry level position through our virtual Kynetec Call Center where you will conduct surveys over the telephone using computer-based surveys according to specific guidelines and procedures. The Call Center is a fast-paced environment with daily moving pieces.
The agent role executes recruiting respondents to participate paid in research surveys. Engaging the audience is a vital component to the position. You have the opportunity to connect with farmers, ranchers, and many other roles to help them answer research questions and create change while you learn about the dynamic agriculture industry.
You will never be asked to sell anything. This is market research.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend project briefings.
Become familiar and proficient with selecting call outcomes and survey requirements.
Follow verbatim guidelines on all surveys.
Complete open-ends by probing and clarifying fully.
Make best effort to produce high quality survey collection.
Produce accurate work.
Strive to reach project production goals.
Arrive on time, adhere to assigned shifts, be productive, work efficiently.
Regularly read monitoring forms and Supervisor communication to correct all performance related issues.
Coordinate time-off requests with Supervisor.
Use good judgment and appropriate respondent interaction techniques and approaches with all calls.
Conduct telephone interviews according to company policy and adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
Job/Skill Requirements:
Minimum of 16 years of age.
Must read and write English well.
Basic computer knowledge and experience.
Provide a computer (not a tablet or Chromebook) with 16GB of memory, consistent high speed internet, minimum 25 mbps download and 5 mbps upload, and the ability to execute calls with excellent audio quality while simultaneously running additional programs.
Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
Use personal initiative to call according to project standards and maintain a positive attitude.
Must be honest, responsible and dependable.
Keep accurate record of time.
Compensation:
The agent position starts with a base pay of $13.00 per hour, however, hourly compensation is dependent on factors that can include location, production and quality. Our supervising staff conducts regular monitoring and yearly reviews. Pay can be increased depending on measurement outcomes and level of performance.

Part-time positions may have specific insurance, paid time off and retirement benefits that employees are eligible for dependent upon location and qualified hours worked.
Flexible Scheduling:
The agent position has the opportunity to submit your own weekly availability from which your schedule is created. Evening hours are strongly preferred. Submitted availability is due each Thursday for the following Sunday through Saturday. Weekly minimum hours are dependent upon day shift, evening shift or split shift. Our hours range from 8am – 9:30pm on weekdays, 8am to 2pm on Saturday, and 5pm-9pm on Sundays. Hours are dependent upon project availability and performance metrics.
Advancement:
The Kynetec Call Center has three levels of Remote Agents: Entry Remote Telephone Interviewer, Associate Remote Telephone Interviewer, and Executive Remote Telephone Interviewer.
Supervisors elevate agents through continuous coaching and training. Additionally, the interpersonal skills learned while interacting with people to build rapport and collect accurate survey data are extremely valuable in any business setting. You will also become familiar with a variety of software including portions of the Microsoft suite.
