Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Southeast U.S. territory (extensive travel 60-75%) prefer someone who lives in Texas or Georgia, but open.
Salary: $130k - $150k base salary, with first year commissions equally to a total salary of approximately $200k range. Company reimburses for all travel and will provide a laptop)

*** Experience in the Tobacco industry is highly desirable, but consumer packaged goods industry will also work.
Job duties:
The role involves face-to-face meetings; candidates should not expect to sit in an office making calls. Responsibilities include maintaining existing client relationships and acquiring new business.
Develop and manage product distribution channels throughout the southwestern U.S.A. to increase revenues and grow market share.
Travels within assigned area to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit new business and develop strategic alliances.
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet, as well as other sources.
Periodically visits company owned distribution centers in assigned area, working with all sales personnel to assess performance with trade clients, maintain positive relations, and gain competitive market intelligence.
Quotes prices and credit terms and presents sales contracts developed by legal counsel, as applicable, for obtained orders.
