Key Responsibilities
Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects from conception to completion.
Ensure projects meet engineering standards, safety regulations, quality control (QA/QC) policies, and client specifications.
Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, suppliers, senior engineers, and other team members; coordinate reviews, inspections, and communications.
Track project progress, budgets, timelines, and performance; identify risks or deviations and propose solutions.
Manage documentation such as submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, material requisitions, as-built drawings, and close-out reports.
Conduct site visits, walk-throughs, quality inspections, and commissioning activities.
Collaborate on design reviews, feasibility studies, bids, procurement, and process improvements.
Required Qualifications And Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Chemical, or a related field) is typically required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications can be advantageous.
Experience: 2–5+ years in project engineering, construction, or a related technical role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Understanding of oilfield production equipment and fluids separation, gas lift systems, and hydraulic systems pertaining to fluid dynamics.
Ability to generate isometric drawings, create BOMs, and size control equipment.
Proficiency with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Soft Skills:
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication for reporting, stakeholder updates, and team coordination.
Leadership and teamwork — ability to delegate, motivate, and collaborate across disciplines.
Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
