Plant Manager - Heavy Fabrication and Machining

Swanton Welding & Machining is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our Wauseon, Ohio Heavy Fabrication & Machining facility.

This role is responsible for total plant performance across a high-mix, custom manufacturing environment supporting heavy fabrication, structural welding, and machining operations.

We are looking for a strong operational leader who can drive accountability, improve throughput, develop teams, and execute production safely and efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

 Our Wauseon operation includes:

• Heavy structural and custom fabrication
• Welding-intensive manufacturing
• Machining operations
• Large weldments and complex assemblies
• Approximately 40+ production and support employees

This is not a repetitive production environment. Success in this role requires strong floor leadership, operational decision-making, production prioritization, and the ability to balance fabrication and machining workflows to meet customer and business demands.
