We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll procedures, compliance regulations, and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for employees accurately and timely
Maintain payroll records, employee data, and tax documentation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Handle payroll adjustments, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits deductions
Coordinate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate payroll reporting
Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits when required
Manage direct deposits, wage garnishments, and payroll reconciliations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred
4+ years of payroll processing experience
Knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, or Workday
Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software
