Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $45.00/hr
  • Responsibilities:**
  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of pending litigation actions.
  • Prepare and draft pleadings and responses to discovery demands.
  • Manage extensive document production, ensuring timely and efficient coordination of information.
  • Maintain comprehensive case files.
  • Collaborate with management to provide documents in response to discovery requests.
  • Analyze legal documents and meticulously catalog exhibits.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and perform cite checks for briefs.
  • Prepare all required legal documents for various proceedings.
  • Monitor cases and provide comprehensive litigation support.
  • Initiate and maintain legal holds using relevant software.
  • Ensure compliance with court deadlines, CPLR, and other court/procedural rules, including calendaring deadlines.
  • Manage electronic document repositories and document review platforms.
  • Handle e-filing of documents on PACER and NYSEF.
  • Required Skills:**
  • Strong background in drafting discovery responses, discovery demands, and various types of motions.
  • Extensive experience in New York Defense Litigation.
  • Well-versed in New York Practice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with good faith letter writing.
  • Preferred Skills:**
  • Extensive experience in processing authorization.
