Package Underwriter

Our client, a well-established and growing MGA, is seeking a Package Underwriter to support its flagship lumber program, underwriting package business (Property, General Liability, and Auto) across both admitted and non-admitted markets for wood product risks such as sawmills, pallet manufacturers, cabinet makers, and furniture operations (excluding logging/forestry). The program is nationwide with concentration in the Midwest and Southeast and offers strong submission flow with average account premiums around $50K+.

You must have a minimum of 3+ years of package underwriting experience (industry-specific lumber experience not required), with exposure to both new business and renewals; backgrounds from MGAs, carriers, or large brokerages are all considered, and familiarity with E&S/non-admitted markets is a plus.

This is a fully remote role with strong stability and growth potential within a well-built underwriting team.
