Account Manager – Target & Walmart
We’re partnering with a high-growth, category-leading wellness brand to hire a Key Account Manager to own the Target & Walmart business and drive strategic growth across accounts.
This role will lead the commercial relationship, drive distribution and promotional performance, and deliver against revenue and margin targets within key national retailers.
What You’ll Own:
• Full ownership of the Target & Walmart accounts including revenue, distribution, and profitability
• Development and execution of Joint Business Plans
• Leading line reviews, item presentations, and new product launches
• Driving distribution gains, assortment expansion, and incremental placements
• Managing trade spend, promotional calendars, and pricing strategy
• Partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance
• Forecasting, P&L management, and identifying risks and opportunities
• Building strong relationships with Target & Walmart buyers and category managers
What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years in CPG sales or Key Account Management
• Direct ownership of the Target & Walmart accounts
• Strong financial acumen across trade spend, forecasting, and margins
• Proven success leading line reviews and negotiating with retailers
• Track record of driving distribution and revenue growth
Nice to Have:
• Experience in supplements, wellness, or high-growth CPG
• Familiarity with IRI, Nielsen, or SPINS
• Background in omnichannel or fast-scaling brands
