Role Summary
The Manufacturing Technician I supports the production of chemical and biological reagents used in research, diagnostics, or commercial applications. This entry-level role focuses on executing routine manufacturing tasks under supervision while following established procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
What You’ll Do
Perform routine reagent manufacturing tasks following SOPs and batch records
Prepare standard buffers, solutions, and simple formulations
Review batch records and documentation for accuracy and compliance
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Escalate issues, deviations, or errors to senior staff
Label, package, and store finished products according to specifications
Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Support cleaning, setup, and material handling activities
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
0-1 years experience with batch manufacturing or continuous processing
Preferred Qualifications
Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE requirements
Familiarity with safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Basic lab math and solution preparation skills
