The Manufacturing Team Member operates equipment, assembles parts, and supports production to build automatic transmissions. This role follows all safety policies and work procedures and promotes quality, and efficiency.
Position Responsibilities
The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
Operate machinery and assemble components using standardized procedures to ensure quality.
Meet daily production targets based on customer demand.
Inspect parts for defects and follow quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with company standards.
Accurately record production data and report any equipment or process issues.
Work and communicate well with others to keep production running smoothly.
Follow company rules and complete other assigned tasks.

Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule (days and nights) with potential mandatory daily and some Saturday overtime.

Beneficial Skills And Experience
Experience in an industrial/manufacturing/production environment is a plus.
Math skills-Basic mathematic skills to ensure accurate measurements is a plus.
Mechanical-General knowledge of machines, tools and measurement instruments is a plus.
Education/Training/Certifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
