Position Overview:
Design and deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction that connects academic concepts to real-life situations.
Monitor progress using formal/informal evaluations and maintain accurate documentation for IEP implementation and state compliance.
Partner with families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Maintain a structured, positive classroom that promotes student engagement and emotional safety.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field
Master’s Degree (Preferred)
Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Knowledge of Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (EEEI) and willingness to attend staff development
