Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Line Cook role located in Hamburg, NJ. As a Line Cook, you will prepare high-quality meals by following standardized recipes and portion sizes while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include setting up and stocking workstations, handling ingredients and cooking equipment, monitoring food inventory and waste, and ensuring dishes are presented with excellence. You will collaborate with the culinary team to maintain the resort’s high culinary standards and provide an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
Culinary skills, including experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation guidelines, and best practices
Ability to operate kitchen equipment and follow recipes accurately
Strong time management and organizational skills
Team collaboration and communication skills for a fast-paced kitchen environment
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is a plus
Previous experience in a restaurant or resort kitchen is preferred
