You understand that holding students to the highest standard is the most respectful thing you can do. Your background includes accomplishments most people only encounter in headlines: elite-level competition, graduating with honors from a top university, working at a highly selective organization, or launching a venture from the ground up. Now imagine channeling that drive into a setting where K-12 students gain access to a mentor of your caliber—someone who refuses to accept anything less than their best. If the idea of maintaining elite expectations feels too demanding, this role isn't for you.

Alpha leverages AI-driven 1-on-1 instruction to help students complete core academics in roughly two hours each day. The remaining time is dedicated to developing life skills, exploring personal interests, and fostering meaningful growth. At Alpha's most rigorous campuses, students require more than basic oversight. They need a credible mentor whose personal track record defines excellence: someone capable of commanding the room, establishing high-performance norms, and guiding students through doubt, distraction, and hesitation.

Your role is not instructional. AI delivers the academic content. Your responsibility is to inspire, coach, and hold students to the same exacting standards you've applied to yourself. Forty percent of your time involves direct 1-on-1 and small-group coaching to identify obstacles and define ambitious targets. Another forty percent is spent facilitating structured life-skills workshops designed for true mastery, not passive engagement. The final twenty percent is dedicated to leading focused morning sessions that build a culture where excellence is non-negotiable.

The trajectory here is deepening impact, not upward mobility. You begin by mastering Alpha's framework and earning students' trust. Within a few months, you become the person they allow to challenge them beyond their perceived limits. The payoff isn't a title change. It's the same cohort of students, year after year, maturing with your guidance. It's witnessing a student who avoided eye contact in September deliver a confident presentation to a roomful of adults come May.

This position remains student-centered. Students are the mission, not a springboard to another opportunity. If you're motivated to leave your current role because of purpose, not résumé building, apply now.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Conducting 1-on-1 and small-group coaching using Coachbot analytics and student performance data to identify barriers, establish ambitious targets, and ensure accountability for execution
  • Facilitating structured life-skills workshops designed for mastery by drawing on credible examples from your own high-achievement background, then evaluating mastery through Alpha's Test2Pass framework
  • Establishing the cultural standard each morning via focused kickoff sessions that reinforce high-performance expectations campus-wide
  • Monitoring student progress continuously and adapting coaching approaches based on data rather than intuition
  • Cultivating trusted mentor relationships with students and their families through consistent high expectations and documented accountability plans

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Delivering lessons, creating curriculum, or evaluating assignments — Alpha's AI-powered instructional model manages academics; you manage motivation
  • Presenting to a full classroom of 30 students (your focus is intensive coaching in small groups, not traditional teaching)
  • Supervising other staff or advancing through an administrative hierarchy (this role centers on direct student outcomes, not organizational management)
  • Attending faculty meetings or dealing with institutional bureaucracy (your schedule remains student-focused)
  • Compromising standards to meet quotas (if a student achieves 99%, your role is to uncover what prevented 100%)
