About the Position

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic enterprise relationships within the Avulux Provider network across the United States. This role will focus on strategic account development, provider engagement, utilization growth, practice expansion, and long-term partnership success across multi-location ECP organizations, strategic accounts, alliances, GPOs, and private equity-backed groups.


The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, entrepreneurial, highly organized, and passionate about helping scale a fast-growing healthcare technology company within the optical industry.


This role requires regular travel throughout the United States to support industry alliances, events, and strategic partnerships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing multi-location ECPs and companies in the Avulux Provider network.
  • Implement training and development programs with new and existing Avulux Provider practices.
  • Conduct regular business reviews monthly or quarterly to assess needs and address any issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans and tailored solutions to support provider growth, utilization, and operational success.
  • Meet and exceed new lens sales, account retention, and growth targets.
  • Maintain accurate account activity, pipeline visibility, and reporting within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support provider engagement initiatives, events, trade shows, and lead management activities.
  • Identify and develop new growth opportunities within existing and prospective enterprise accounts.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Avulux’s product portfolio and service offering.
  • Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and competitive advantages to customers.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 3-5 years of optical industry account management or other sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with eye care providers, optical staff, or optical retailers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex optical technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders across all levels of a practice, including Practice Owners, Optometrists, Opticians, Office Manager, etc.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and business/project management software.
