CCI Mechanical, LLC is looking for a motivated Construction Management Intern to assist with project coordination, field operations, estimating, and construction administration activities for a variety of construction projects.

This position will report to our office location in Holt, FL.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties, but not all duties performed for this position. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist Project Managers with project documentation, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and change order tracking
Support project scheduling updates and daily construction progress reporting
Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and construction drawings
Shadow Superintendents, Site Safety & Health Officers (SSHO), and Quality Control (QC) personnel to gain exposure to field operations and project execution
Participate in subcontractor coordination meetings, safety meetings, and jobsite walks
Assist with project buyout, procurement tracking, and material coordination
Support estimating activities including quantity take-offs, bid reviews, and subcontractor/vendor outreach
Help maintain project records, logs, and jobsite documentation
Observe and assist with quality control and safety compliance processes
Participate in field inspections and document project progress
Prepare weekly reports summarizing internship activities and lessons learned
Collaborate with project teams to support project goals, schedules, and deadlines
Follow company safety policies and complete required safety training
Minimum Qualifications
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field
Strong interest in construction project management and field operations
Basic understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software is a plus
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in both office and active construction site environments
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Willingness to learn construction safety standards and jobsite procedures
Additional Qualifying Factors
As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. If applicable, you must be able to obtain necessary clearances and access to military installations.

This role may require occasional movement around job sites, including walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds. Work may occur both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when on-site. The position also requires the ability to remain attentive and engaged.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a mix of office and field environments. Office work involves extended computer use. Fieldwork may include exposure to weather conditions, uneven terrain, and construction site environments, including noise, dust, and other typical site conditions.
