IT Business Analyst – Payments / POS / API Integrations

• Lindon, UT (Onsite)
• Jeffersonville, IN (Onsite)
• Duration: 1-Year Contract
• Compensation: $29–$35/hr. W2
• Potential for extension or conversion based on budget and performance

We are seeking Business Analysts with strong Agile/Scrum experience and exposure to payments, POS systems, and API/integration environments. This team supports a restaurant POS platform focused on payment integrations, kiosks, loyalty systems, menu boards, and third-party delivery solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work within Agile/Scrum SDLC environments alongside Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Developers, and UX teams

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements

• Support integrations between POS platforms, payment systems, loyalty solutions, kiosks, and related technologies

• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies

• Conduct and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to troubleshoot integrations and validate functionality

• Use JIRA/Atlassian tools, Confluence, and Slack for project collaboration and tracking

• Research issues and analyze data using SQL

• Help identify roadblocks and drive projects forward in fast-paced Agile environments

Required Experience:

• 3–5 years of Business Analyst experience

• Strong Agile/Scrum background

• Experience with payments, FinTech, or POS systems

• Exposure to APIs, integrations, JSON, and RESTful services

• SQL experience for troubleshooting and research

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Self-starter capable of working independently and navigating complex environments

Highly Preferred:

• Restaurant technology or POS platforms such as NCR, Aloha, or similar

• Hardware/software integration experience

• Ability to read or interpret code is a plus
