Fund Accountant

Job Title: Fund Accountant

Location: Remote

Salary: $80,000-$105,000

Company Summary: A growing fund administrator is looking to hire a key position within their fund accounting group. The firm specializes in creating exchange fund structures that help investors with concentrated stock positions diversify while deferring taxable events. The ideal candidate is someone who can own the day-to-day administrative and operational functions

Key Responsibilities:

• Support fund operations and administration, including account management, cash activity and coordination with banking, custodial, and third party partners
• Work directly with clients and investors on onboarding, servicing and ongoing relationship management while maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Assist in building and scaling fund infrastructure, including developing processes, coordinating with administrators, and ensuring smooth day-to-day execution
• Contribute to new product launches by supporting operational setup, cross-functional coordination, cross functional coordination, and ongoing enhancements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 1-4 years of experience in investment operations, fund administration or operations, or financial services
• Practical understanding of fund structures and basic accounting concepts
• Proficiency in Excel and the ability to learn systems quickly
