Financial Analyst - PE Backed Contract

We are partnering with a private equity-backed organization seeking a hands-on Financial Analyst to support finance transformation, reporting improvement, and process optimization initiatives. This role will work closely with finance leadership and operational stakeholders to help clean up reporting structures, improve data visibility, streamline processes, and enhance overall financial decision support capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support finance clean-up and process improvement initiatives across reporting, forecasting, and operational finance functions
• Analyze existing financial reporting structures and identify opportunities for standardization and automation
• Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, reporting improvement initiatives, operational analysis, and strategic decision-making across the business.
• Assist with development and enhancement of management reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI tracking
• Perform variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to leadership teams
• Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to improve data accuracy and reporting consistency
• Help streamline budgeting and forecasting processes through improved models and reporting tools
• Assist with reconciliations, data validation, and identification of reporting gaps or inefficiencies
• Support ad hoc financial analysis tied to operational performance, profitability, and strategic initiatives
• Document processes and help establish scalable finance procedures and standard work
