As a District Manager, you will lead a large, geographically dispersed team of 200–300 employees across multiple retail stores and donation sites. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening operational performance, and building a culture rooted in development, accountability, and community impact. This is a highly visible leadership role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on support in the field.
Success in this position requires prior multi-unit leadership experience in a high-volume environment such as big-box retail, food service, or similarly complex operations.

Partner with Human Resources and cross-functional teams to support hiring, training, performance management, and employee engagement
Analyze financial statements, labor metrics, and production reports to identify opportunities and implement actionable improvements
Conduct regular site visits and audits focused on production, cash handling, safety, quality assurance, and overall operational effectiveness
Build bench strength by mentoring and developing future leaders to support growth and succession planning
Communicate district performance, insights, and action plans to senior leadership
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Respond to customer and community needs in a timely, professional manner while reinforcing a service-driven culture
Additional Focus Areas
Continuously assess business performance and implement strategies to improve sales, productivity, and expense control
Foster a collaborative environment across stores, donation sites, and support teams
Ensure consistent training and onboarding practices to reduce turnover and improve team effectiveness
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence across all locations
What You Bring
Proven success leading multiple locations in a high-volume environment such as big-box retail, food service, or similar sectors
Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and translate insights into action
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, develop talent, and build high-performing, engaged cultures
Experience driving operational consistency, process improvement, and performance management across multiple sites
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
A hands-on leadership style with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Experience
Experience in thrift retail, donated goods production, or similar operational models
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen or lean practices
Experience working in mission-driven or community-focused organizations
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of five years of experience in retail or production environments, with at least three years in a multi-unit leadership role
Key Performance Indicators
Year-over-year revenue growth across assigned locations
Labor management, productivity, and profitability against budget
Development of internal talent and leadership bench strength
Execution of operational standards and merchandising consistency
Effectiveness of recruiting, hiring, and retention strategies
This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in the field, enjoys building strong teams, and is motivated by both business results and community impact.
If you are a results-driven, multi-unit leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is ready to make a meaningful impact across communities in Central Florida, we encourage you to apply. Join us in building strong teams, driving operational excellence, and advancing a mission that makes a difference every day.
