About Vebu Inc.

Vebu Inc. is transforming the food industry through automation solutions designed to address labor shortages, rising operational costs, and consistency challenges. We develop robotic systems for commercial kitchens, including automation for food preparation tasks deployed with leading QSR brands, alongside computer vision software that helps operators better understand and optimize back-of-house performance.

With a team spanning engineering, robotics, and AI, we are focused on building practical, scalable technologies that help humans do more.

Position Summary

We are seeking a senior commercialization leader to define and execute our commercialization strategy while scaling our sales function. This is not a traditional SaaS sales leadership role. The focus is on scaling operational and equipment-based solutions from pilot programs into repeatable, scalable deployments within enterprise foodservice and multi-unit operations.

This role will help shape how the company brings its products to market, converts early traction into scalable revenue, and establishes repeatable deployment models and commercial frameworks. We are looking for a strategic, highly execution-oriented leader who can build commercialization momentum in an early-stage environment with a still-evolving structure.

The ideal candidate understands how to bridge innovation and operational adoption, helping organizations move from exploratory pilots to scalable commercial execution with measurable business impact.

This is a highly visible leadership role with direct influence on revenue, go-to-market strategy, and long-term business success.

What You Will Do

Commercialization Strategy & Execution

  • Own and drive the company’s commercialization strategy from pilot through scaled deployment
  • Establish repeatable paths from pilot to contract to multi-location rollout
  • Help define pricing frameworks, expansion strategy, and commercial models
  • Drive scalable revenue growth with a focus on repeatable deployments rather than one-off engagements

Pilot to Rollout Leadership

  • Lead the conversion of pilot programs into long-term commercial deployments
  • Define success criteria, ROI benchmarks, rollout triggers, and expansion frameworks
  • Help ensure commercialization efforts prioritize repeatable economics and operational value
  • Partner with customers to demonstrate measurable operational outcomes and long-term viability

Channel & Industry Development

  • Build and strengthen relationships with operators, enterprise customers, dealers, distributors, rep groups, and service partners
  • Leverage industry relationships to accelerate commercialization opportunities and deployments
  • Develop scalable channel and support strategies that enable growth across multiple customer environments
  • Build credibility with operational, procurement, and facilities stakeholders

Operational ROI & Customer Value

  • Translate product capabilities into clear operational and financial outcomes, including labor optimization, consistency, throughput, and efficiency
  • Build business cases and deployment economics that support customer adoption and expansion
  • Help customers understand and measure ROI throughout deployment lifecycles

Commercial Infrastructure & Execution Support

  • Establish the necessary pipeline visibility, forecasting discipline, and operational reporting needed to support commercialization efforts
  • Define qualification standards, conversion metrics, and scalable sales processes where needed
  • Build infrastructure that improves execution and decision-making without creating unnecessary complexity

Territory & Account Strategy

  • Help define account prioritization, territory strategy, and deployment sequencing
  • Lead strategic account planning and expansion efforts within multi-unit operators and enterprise customers
  • Ensure a strong customer experience from initial engagement through deployment and growth

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align commercialization strategy with deployment readiness and market opportunities
  • Help define rollout playbooks, support models, and long-term customer success strategies
  • Contribute to broader company planning and strategic decision-making

What We Are Looking For

Experience & Background

  • Significant experience in commercializing solutions within foodservice, restaurant, kitchen equipment, automation, or adjacent operational industries
  • Proven track record helping scale products or systems from pilot programs into repeatable commercial deployments
  • Experience working with enterprise operators, multi-unit environments, or operationally complex customer organizations
  • Understanding of long procurement cycles, operational buying processes, and multi-stakeholder decision-making
  • Experience building or scaling commercial functions within growth-stage or evolving organizations is strongly preferred

Industry & Relationship Network

  • Strong relationships within foodservice, hospitality, operational technology, equipment, or related ecosystems
  • Experience working with channel partners, distributors, rep groups, or operational service networks is preferred
  • Familiarity with operational deployment considerations, rollout planning, and customer support requirements

Execution & Leadership

  • Proven ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in execution
  • Strong focus on measurable business outcomes and scalable commercial success
  • Comfortable building structure where needed, while maintaining agility and speed
  • Analytical and operationally minded with strong business judgment
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence

Who You Are

  • A builder who thrives in early-stage and evolving environments
  • Strategic, decisive, and highly execution-oriented
  • Focused on scalable outcomes and real operational impact
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and helping define direction
  • Energized by solving commercialization and deployment challenges in emerging markets

Why This Role Matters

This role is critical in helping the company transition from early pilot activity to scalable commercial execution. Success will not be defined by the number of pilots launched, but by the ability to convert the right opportunities into repeatable, multi-location deployments with strong unit economics and long-term customer value.

What Success Looks Like in 12 Months

  • Converted 2–3 pilot customers into multi-unit commercial agreements with clear, repeatable unit economics
  • Established a repeatable commercialization model from pilot to scaled deployment, including success criteria, rollout frameworks, and expansion pathways
  • Built strong operator, channel, and strategic partner relationships that support continued growth
  • Implemented focused commercialization infrastructure that improves visibility, forecasting, and execution without creating unnecessary process overhead

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a traditional SaaS sales leadership role focused primarily on high-volume pipeline generation or short sales cycles
  • Not a process-first role where CRM systems and reporting infrastructure are the primary focus
  • Not an environment where success is measured by the number of pilots launched without a path to scalable deployment
  • Not a pure team management role. This is a hands-on commercialization leadership position focused on helping define how the business scales successfully

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical demands associated with this position include occasional walking, lifting & carrying materials (up to 10 lbs.), sitting at a desk within a temperature-controlled environment, working with tools, or materials, and lifting and transporting by hand.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is: $170,000 - $220,000/year (eligible for commission)
