About Shapermint

Shapermint is one of North America's leading DTC shapewear and intimates brands — trusted by millions of women for our comfort-first designs, inclusive fit, and empowering mission. Built on a powerful performance engine, we scale through rapid experimentation, AI-driven execution, and a relentless focus on profitable growth.

We operate across the US, Canada, and international markets - expanding into U.S. retail and major marketplaces like Amazon. Our philosophy is simple: test fast, learn faster, scale what works - with ownership, speed, and excellence.

The role

We're hiring a Director of Acquisition to own and lead the full spectrum of new customer acquisition for a $500M+ DTC brand investing over $100M annually in media. This is not a campaign management role — it's a full business ownership role. You'll be accountable for scaling profitable customer growth across paid and organic channels, managing media efficiency at scale, and building a team that tests, learns, and wins fast.

You will combine creative leadership, funnel and CRO strategy, and world-class media strategy (budget allocation, attribution, lift tests) to drive sustainable acquisition that fuels both immediate profitability and long-term customer lifetime value.

What you'll own

  • End-to-end acquisition strategy across paid, owned, and organic channels - Meta as the primary engine, supported by TikTok, Google, Pinterest, and others at scale.
  • Budget allocation across $100M+ annual paid media spend, with clear performance accountability and testing logic.
  • Creative strategy that drives sales for individual products and bundles - defining angles, hooks, offers, and formats with a direct-response lens.
  • Funnel performance management: ad → landing page → offer → CRO tests. You connect the dots across the full acquisition funnel.
  • A culture of structured testing - high-velocity experimentation across ads, landing pages, and offers, with documented hypotheses, metrics, and learnings at every sprint.
  • Incrementality and true contribution measurement frameworks to inform budget decisions.
  • Leadership of a team of Growth Managers across media, creative, and funnel - hiring, developing, and setting the execution standard.
  • AI tools integration to accelerate creative iteration, budget optimization, and performance decision-making.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years in performance marketing or acquisition, with a track record of scaling direct-response products, not just managing campaigns.
  • Managed $50M+ annual ad spend with clear budget allocation, testing logic, and performance accountability.
  • Deep creative strategy skills: you can define angles, hooks, and offers, and you know how to brief and push a creative team to produce direct-response assets that actually convert.
  • Strong understanding of creative formats across Meta, TikTok and other paid channels: video ads, UGC, problem/solution hooks, testimonials, and offer-driven content.
  • Hands-on experience building and optimizing full funnels (ad to landing page to offer to CRO).
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve creative output, testing velocity, or acquisition performance.
  • 5-6+ years leading senior growth or performance managers, including creative and media teams.
  • Background in DTC, performance marketing, affiliate, or direct-response environments.
  • Strong learning mindset: you read, study frameworks, and sharpen your edge continuously.

Not a fit: brand-first marketers, content-only leaders, or candidates without hands-on direct response experience.

Why this role

  • You'll lead one of the largest DTC acquisition budgets in the shapewear and intimates space.
  • Real ownership - your decisions directly impact revenue, CAC, and margin at $500M+ scale.
  • A testing-obsessed culture where experiments are celebrated and learnings are currency.
  • Fully remote, competitive salary, and the chance to shape a category-defining DTC brand.
  • Deep investment in AI, UGC, and rapid creative testing infrastructure already in place.
