What You Can Expect
Key Responsibilities
PMO Leadership & Strategy
- Define and implement the overall IT PMO strategy, governance framework, methodologies, and best practices.
- Establish standardized project management processes, tools, templates, and reporting mechanisms.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery maturity and operational effectiveness.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics to measure project success and PMO effectiveness.
Portfolio & Program Management
- Manage the IT project portfolio, ensuring prioritization aligns with strategic business goals.
- Oversee large-scale enterprise programs and cross-functional initiatives.
- Monitor project health, budgets, schedules, dependencies, risks, and resource utilization.
- Provide executive-level reporting and dashboards on portfolio performance.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with senior business and IT leaders to define priorities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive reviews.
- Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
Financial & Resource Management
- Oversee IT project budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.
- Optimize allocation of project managers
- Support vendor management, contract negotiations, and third-party engagements related to project delivery.
Governance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
- Establish project governance controls, stage gates, and approval processes.
- Identify and mitigate program and project risks proactively.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop PMO staff, project managers, and program managers.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Drive training and adoption of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management with increasing leadership responsibility.
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise PMO functions or large-scale IT portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
175,860 - 263,500, $ per annum
The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
