Credit Research Analyst

A leading hedge fund is seeking a Credit Research Analyst to join its expanding team. Reporting to the Head of Trading, this hire will partner closely with the trade desk to research positions, perform credit analysis across multiple issuers, and collaborate with the portfolio management team.

The ideal candidate will bring 1-3 years of experience in credit research, trading, or leveraged finance from a private equity firm, hedge fund, or investment bank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze credits and developments, manage key timelines, and support investment decision-making
• Maintain ongoing oversight of portfolio positions including key terms, performance, and major developments
• Build and leverage relationships with market participants to stay informed on evolving situations
• Monitor filings and market updates to communicate relevant updates to the trade desk

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• 1-3 years of experience in credit research, trading, or leveraged finance
• Outstanding attention to detail, collaborative, and highly organized
• Open to being in the office 5 days/week
