We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Configuration Management Analyst to join a high-impact team within Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO). This individual will play a critical role in managing and reviewing engineering changes (ECs), ensuring compliance, accuracy, and alignment with configuration management standards.
This team operates in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that balances a strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented culture. The role offers exposure to system-level engine architecture and cross-functional interaction with engineering, manufacturing, and product definition teams. This position is primarily onsite, with occasional flexibility to work remotely, and emphasizes strong communication and accountability.
Responsibilities
Review and manage Class II Engineering Changes, including QN deviations, vendor ECs, specifications, and must-conform reviews
Perform high-level Configuration Management (CM) review and approval, ensuring all ECs meet organizational and regulatory requirements
Evaluate redlines and marked prints, incorporate drawing updates, and verify accuracy of technical documentation
Manage producibility and manufacturability updates to support engineering and operations alignment
Prioritize and process ECs from a SharePoint-based queue, focusing on high-priority changes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Product Definition, Manufacturing) to ensure effective change implementation
Support configuration finalization processes and ensure traceability across systems
Contribute to a team-oriented, teaching environment by actively learning and engaging with peers
Must Haves
Experience with engineering change processes (ECs), configuration management, or related engineering workflows
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, redlines, and technical documentation
Familiarity with tools such as Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or similar PLM systems
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to independently review and validate technical information
Nice to Haves
Background in Design Engineering or Product Definition (PD)
Experience supporting manufacturability or producibility improvements
Exposure to aerospace or highly regulated engineering environments
Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset for learning and asking questions
