Position Summary
The Clinical Application Support Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing clinical applications (e.g., EHR systems like Epic) used by healthcare providers. This role serves as a key liaison between clinical end users and IT, ensuring systems function efficiently to support patient care and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support for clinical applications, troubleshooting issues related to workflows, system functionality, and integrations
Analyze, triage, and resolve incidents, service requests, and system errors in a timely manner
Collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and operational stakeholders to understand workflows and translate needs into system solutions
Configure, maintain, and enhance application build (e.g., order sets, documentation tools, workflows)
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions
Support system upgrades, testing cycles (unit, integrated, UAT), and go-live activities
Work with interface and technical teams to resolve data flow or integration issues
Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
Participate in on-call support rotation as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
