The Beechwood Tavern, Buckhead's newest dining destination, is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team.

Position Overview

The Assistant General Manager plays a pivotal role in the overall success of the restaurant by partnering closely with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of daily operations. This individual is a hands-on leader who sets the standard for service excellence, cultivates a high-performing team, and ensures the guest experience reflects the values and vision of The Beechwood Tavern.

Role Description

Beechwood Tavern is seeking a full-time Assistant General Manager for its on-site location in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. This leadership role involves managing daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining operational efficiency. The Assistant General Manager will also support the development and implementation of operational policies, oversee inventory management, and contribute to financial goals by optimizing budgets and controlling costs. Additionally, the role extends to fostering a positive team environment and upholding company values.

Qualifications

• Experience in Leadership, Staff Management, and Team Training
• Proficiency in Inventory Management, Budget Planning, and Cost Control
• Customer Service and Conflict Resolution Skills
• Understanding of Hospitality Operations, Food and Beverage Services, and Safety Standards
• Strong Communication, Problem-Solving, and Organizational Skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant management is preferred
• Possession of relevant certifications like ServSafe is a plus
