Agile Coach
Rate: $80/hr - $90/hr
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Agilist / Agile Coach to drive effective, predictable delivery across a complex portfolio of initiatives. This role focuses on coaching leaders and teams on Agile practices, strengthening alignment between strategy, discovery, and execution, and scaling consistent ways of working across multiple programs.
Operating at the portfolio and program level, this individual will partner closely with Product, Technology, and Delivery leadership to improve delivery outcomes, optimize flow, and increase transparency across initiatives. This position plays a key role in advancing Agile maturity beyond team-level execution.
Key Responsibilities
Coach product, delivery, and technology leaders and teams to enhance Agile execution across multiple initiatives and workstreams
Lead and support Program Increment (PI) Planning, dependency management, and cross-team alignment to ensure successful delivery outcomes
Drive adoption of consistent Agile practices, tools, and performance metrics (e.g., predictability, cycle time, throughput)
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and targeted coaching sessions, including roadmapping, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers to improve backlog quality, prioritization, and overall delivery flow
Provide executive-level visibility through actionable insights, dashboards, and delivery health reporting
Identify, manage, and escalate systemic risks, impediments, and cross-team dependencies
Foster a culture of servant leadership, continuous improvement, and learning across the organization
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, coaching, or enablement roles
Proven experience coaching multiple teams and leaders within complex, matrixed environments
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating at the portfolio or program level as an Agile Coach or Agilist
Background supporting product-centric, data, analytics, or technology-driven organizations
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
