This week, students from Ossian Elementary spent the day at the ASH Centre exploring STEM in action through a variety of interactive activities designed to keep them thinking, moving, and having fun. Throughout the day, students tested their skills with Wiffle Ball competitions, worked on running and throwing techniques, launched projectiles in slingshot experiments, explored concepts like motion and kinetic energy, and even got an up-close look at construction equipment. From friendly competition to hands-on discovery, the day created opportunities for students to learn in a unique environment while building confidence, teamwork, and curiosity along the way. WBA is grateful for the continued support from our community partners, SYM Financial Advisors and Westside Tractor Sales, as well as the teachers and families who help make these experiences possible for local students.

Yesterday, WBA had a great time welcoming students from Country Meadow Elementary to the ASH Centre for an exciting day of STEM learning and hands-on activities! From Wiffle Ball challenges and throwing mechanics to base running drills, slingshot launch experiments, kinetic energy stations, and exploring construction equipment, students stayed active while learning in a fun and engaging environment. It was an incredible day filled with teamwork, movement, discovery, and plenty of smiles from both students and staff. A huge thank you to all of the parents, teachers, and community partners — Westside Tractor - John Deere, 3 Rivers FCU, and IMG — for helping make these experiences possible for our students!
