Music and painting have been inspiring people for centuries, and the same goes for our #WolfsonWarriors! 🎵 🎨 Kennedy here has been working with ART WITH A HEART IN HEALTHCARE INC to paint a guitar inspired by the song "Waymaker" by Leeland. This is but a small peek into her creative process that reflected the joy and comfort she found in dancing with her night nurses at Wolfson Children's Hospital. Her guitar is now on display at Florida State College at Jacksonville after spending time being admired at MOCA Jacksonville. Kennedy is obviously incredibly talented and we look forward to seeing more art from her in the future! 💙 📹 : Art With a Heart

When every second counts, preparation is everything. ⚡⏩ This #CriticalCareAwarenessMonth, we're proud to shine a spotlight on our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (#PICU) team — the experts caring for some of the most critically ill and injured children in our hospital. One of the many ways our team prepares for the unexpected is through mock codes. A "code" is a medical emergency that requires an immediate, coordinated response from specially trained clinicians. Mock codes recreate those high-stakes situations, allowing our team to practice lifesaving interventions, strengthen communication and refine teamwork in a realistic environment. These simulations help ensure our nurses, respiratory therapists and other team members are ready to provide the highest level of care when critically ill or injured #WolfsonWarriors need it most. Watch our team in action and see firsthand how preparation, teamwork and expertise help us stay ready for anything. 💙

Congratulations to Kayden on graduating from preschool! While Kayden wasn't able to attend his official school ceremony alongside his classmates, our team brought the celebration to him to honor his big accomplishment. 🎓💙 Kayden has made such an impression on our team that the hallways were packed with people wanting the high-fives that Kayden was more than happy to deliver! Kayden is one of our most charismatic #WolfsonWarriors and he practically floated down the hallway celebrating his achievement. Way to go, Kayden! Let's hear it for this bright young man in the comments! 🎉 We know he will continue to do great things.

How cool is this?! ⚾ When we asked one of our #WolfsonWarriors his favorite baseball player, he didn’t say Shohei or Judge. He said Henry Rowengartner, who, as we all know, was the main character of the 1993 classic film Rookie of the Year. Keep in mind that Keegan is very young, so this came as a delightful surprise! That movie was a favorite of some of our team as well, so we reached out to Thomas Nicholas, the actor who played Henry, and asked if he’d film a video for Keegan. What he sent over was beyond our wildest dreams and truly made us smile. It’s great to see that Rowengartner still has the heater from his time with the Chicago Cubs, and we were overjoyed that it meant something to Keegan! Thank you so much to Thomas Nicholas for doing a wonderful thing! 💙

Happy Birthday to Jacksonville Jaguars star and Wolfson Children's Hospital supporter, Travis Hunter! 🎂 🐆 In addition to participating in this past weekend's Wolfson Children's Bass Tournament, Travis also chose Wolfson Children's Hospital for #MyCauseMyCleats. We all know how skilled Travis is on the gridiron, but he also does a lot for the community. Just this weekend, he traded a special Jaguars security coin to a member of the Palatka Police Department in exchange for one of their coins! 🪙 Happy birthday, Travis! 🎉

In 2005, a small group of donors stepped up to fill a need at the hospital, and more than 20 years later, this special group, now known as The DreamCoat Society, has grown to over 200 individuals and families supporting at a leadership level! 💙 During this year’s annual dinner, we honored and celebrated new DreamCoat Society members, shared more about the hospital's funding priorities, and connected with our compassionate physicians; we even had a few special patient and family guests share their courageous stories. At Wolfson Children's Hospital, generosity creates something powerful. It creates a community united around children and families when they need it most and we are grateful to have supporters at all levels to help make our mission possible. 🙏
