A big thank you to Wheelhouse Credit Union for leading an engaging workshop with our youth on money management and budgeting. Students learned how to set SMART goals, build a budget, and think through short-, intermediate-, and long-term goals. But what stood out most were their takeaways. One student shared she now sees the need to focus on priorities and better distinguish between needs vs. wants. Another was excited to learn how a savings account can grow money through interest. These are the moments where real-life skills and confidence start to build. Grateful for partners like Wheelhouse who show up in meaningful ways for our youth.
