BEAUTIFUL ART DONATION! This special work of art, made entirely of medicine vial caps, was created by Cathy Farrell, a retired WARMC operating room technician and an artist with the River Valley Artist Guild. Cathy created the work, entitled “Surgical Team At Work,” for the operating room and surgery department at WARMC. She said her intention was to represent the entire OR team, but the central point of the painting is the person behind the drape, the anesthesiologist. OR staff - who appeared both touched and amazed at the unveiling, are (from left) Belkys Sherman, Certified Surgical Technologist; Rayma Keka, CST; Mandy Evans, Operating Room Director; Steve Turner, Unit Coordinator and CST; Genevieve Arellano, OR Support Services; Farrell; Betty Jimenez, OR Support Services; and Yari Marin, CST.

Having received reports on the excellent study efforts of local elementary school students, WARMC CEO David Schott has been in contact with Santa, and this week he is making time for visits to children at Bullhead area schools. Due to the unusually warm weather, Santa left his reindeer at the North Pole and is flying in by Careflight helicopter. Such an endeavor requires the cooperative efforts of Bullhead Fire, Bullhead PD, WARMC and Tri-state Careflight. The special project allows children to have positive interaction with area first responders as well as the Jolly old elf himself! #weloveourcommunity #firstresponders

ALWAYS WILLING TO LEND A HAND. This headline aptly describes WARMC's staff, including CEO David Schott, who leveraged his height to assist auxiliary members in decorating the WARMC Bistro for the holidays. Our auxiliary members show their commitment to the hospital and patient community through various initiatives, including their monthly updates to the bistro's seasonal decorations.
