Big anniversary milestone for Ron Svartoien, our WST Rockford, IL sales rep! Ron celebrates 45 years with WST this month. Prior to WST Founder Rich Benck acquiring the Rockford dealership, Ron worked for the prior dealer for 10 years. 2026 marks 55(!!!) years of selling and supporting John Deere construction equipment. SkillsUSA brings together some of the most driven students across Illinois to compete in hands-on trade and technical competitions across all different industries. From diesel technology and equipment operation to precision technical skills, these students aren’t just learning — they’re proving what they can do and showcasing skills for their future careers. We had a great crew onsite representing WST, including Beth, Erin, and Kevin, alongside our John Deere partners and friends at Martin Equipment.
