About us

Warby Parker was founded with a mission: to inspire and impact the world with vision, purpose, and style. We’re constantly asking ourselves how we can do more and make a greater impact—and that starts by reimagining everything that a company and industry can be. We want to demonstrate that a business can scale, be profitable, and do good in the world—without charging a premium for it. And we’ve learned that it takes creativity, empathy, and innovation to achieve that goal. Glasses, sunglasses, contacts, and eye exams—we’ve got your eyes covered. Shop prescription eyewear starting at $95 online or find a store near you at warbyparker.com Ultimately, we believe in vision for all, which is why for every pair of glasses or sunglasses we sell, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need through our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program. As of 2020, over eight million pairs have been distributed—and we’re only just getting started. Learn more at warbyparker.com/buy-a-pair-give-a-pair. Glasses are the most personal technology we use: they help us see the world more clearly and are the very first thing people notice about us. Today, we’re taking a massive leap forward in what glasses can do. Alongside our partners at Google and Samsung Mobile, we are officially unveiling our first Intelligent Eyewear frame. As we entered this new category, our challenge was clear: how do we integrate advanced technology that enhances our understanding of the world, without compromising what makes glasses great? For us, that meant combining beautiful design with uncompromising standards on the fundamentals: precision optics, exceptional comfort, and a fit designed for all-day, everyday wear. This debut frame is the result of thousands of hours of engineering and design. We’ve managed to house incredible capabilities within a silhouette that feels like a classic pair of Warby Parker frames. We’re just getting started on shaping the future of this category. We'll be launching our first line of Intelligent Eyewear this fall, and I couldn’t be more proud of #TeamWarby for continuing to lead the way in redefining the eyewear industry and expanding upon our mission of vision for all. When we first announced our partnership with Google and Samsung Electronics last year, we set out with a clear goal: to create beautiful, intelligent eyewear that deeply connects people to the world around them. Today, I’m incredibly excited to officially unveil our first Intelligent Eyewear frame. In designing this debut style, we stayed true to the principles that define every pair of Warby Parker glasses: refined design, precision optics, and exceptional comfort. We didn't want to build a gadget; we wanted to build a powerful tool that feels intuitive and unobtrusive, allowing you to stay focused on the people and moments in front of you. Every detail was considered to enable all-day, everyday wear, from the fit and balance of the frame to the enhanced grip and stability. We drew from our archive of beloved silhouettes to ensure the frame feels timeless. This is more than just a new product launch—it’s a milestone in our journey to reimagine the role glasses play in our lives. We plan to launch our first Intelligent Eyewear line this fall, featuring both optical and sun styles across a broad range of prescriptions. Launching a completely new product category takes extraordinary collaboration, creativity, and persistence. I am deeply grateful to our partners and to #TeamWarby for making this milestone possible. I can’t wait to share more as we head toward the launch. Sign up to get our latest Intelligent Eyewear updates... https://lnkd.in/exHbEhyc

At Warby Parker, our approach to design has always been focused on creating glasses that don't just look good, but actually solve real problems for our customers. I’m excited to share a new chapter in that journey: the launch of our first Sport collection. We approached this collection with the all-day, every-day glasses wearer in mind. While most sunglasses are designed for occasional wear—and often for people who don't need a prescription—we built these with the prescription wearer in mind first. As a result, this collection really stands out in its lens technology. We’ve developed performance polarized lenses that reduce glare, enhance contrast, and deliver a wider field of view with their wraparound profile. With this specialized design, each frame can accommodate a wide range of prescriptions. They can also handle high-intensity activity without sacrificing style—they’re made in Italy from lightweight, durable nylon with a non-slip coating and enclosed spring hinges to ensure they stay secure while you move —all at a price that is more accessible than traditional sport eyewear. Check them out on our site or at a Warby Parker store near you! https://lnkd.in/eT3sZPXw

Thank you, Warby Parker, for being one of the places that has always seen Milly as whole. Milly has worn Warby Parker glasses her entire life. And for a child with profound, non-speaking autism, finding something she trusts and tolerates is not a small thing. It’s everything. I live in Westfield, New Jersey, where there’s a Warby Parker storefront, and every visit reminds me why this brand has become part of Milly’s story. The staff doesn’t just accommodate her. They see her. They invite her in. They treat her as fully capable of participating in her own experience: trying on frames, making choices, being herself, and looking absolutely adorable while doing it. That kind of respect is felt immediately. I was fortunate enough to share a version of this story with Warby Parker employees for Autism Awareness Month in April, and now I’m sharing it here because it still feels important. Milly is not valuable because she is autistic. She is valuable because she is Milly. Autism doesn’t define her worth. It doesn’t get credit for her beauty, her presence, or her joy. She does. And somehow, I believe Milly knows when she is being met that way: seen, respected, and supported exactly as she is. Thank you, Warby Parker!

  • Earlier this week, we hosted our latest Warby Parker Speaker Series, featuring a true trailblazer in marketing and leadership, Mita Mallick. Mita sat down with our Chief People Officer, Chelsea Kaden, to discuss her latest book, “The Devil Emails at Midnight: What Good Leaders Can Learn from Bad Bosses.” Their conversation was a powerful reminder that leadership is a collaborative journey, fueled by open communication and a genuine effort to understand and support the people we work with every day. A few highlights: • We explored the difference between being inspiring and being realistic, and why the best leaders stay grounded in business reality while still rallying their teams. • We discussed why being respected for your contributions is more vital than winning a popularity contest, especially when making tough business decisions. • Mita emphasized the importance of "quiet space" in our calendars to spark the big ideas and creative thinking that drive progress. A huge thank you to Mita for sharing her insights with #TeamWarby!
