#MissionMoment: As many of you know, this year our Girl Scout troop sold over 20,000 boxes of cookies to support our troop in Englewood. Many of you, our donors, selected the option to donate cookies which meant we received over 300 cases of Girl Scout cookies last week to distribute to the individuals and families we serve in our programs! Not only did the cookie sales help our troop but they also filled our pantries with classics and favorites for our residents to enjoy. Thank you to everyone who purchased a box of cookies and shared the story of our troop. We're so grateful for all of the support! #TheVOAWay

#MissionMoment: A couple weeks ago Alumnae from Spelman College hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt at Hope Manor II. Our residents look forward to this event every year. The kids love running around the park trying to find the golden egg and all the candy they can fit into their baskets, taking pictures with the Easter bunny, and getting their face painted into their favorite character! We are grateful for all the joy and Easter spirit the Alumnae bring to this event to make it such a memorable day for our families! A special thank you to board members Allecia Harley and Michelle (Hugghis) Flagg for organizing this every year and including their fellow Spelman Alumnae in the festivities. And thank you to board member Jennifer Zimnowski whose son kindly dressed up as the bunny for us! #TheVOAWay
