Vans just wrapped a brand immersion with our key partners at the iconic Triennale di Milano. The goal was simple: bring our collaborators into the heart of where Vans is headed.    We explored Vans Spring/Summer 2027 creative direction through a series of sensory, crafted, and product-driven experiences. Our leadership also had the opportunity to share the sentiment, energy and intent that is shaping our future. More than a showcase, the day was a curated cultural exchange which created space for meaningful dialogue, connection, and a firsthand understanding of how we continue to evolve while staying true to our Southern California DNA. Our partners’ connection to the vision is essential. As a valued extension of the Vans global community, they are actively helping to build and define what’s next. We’re excited to keep shaping the future, together.

Vans is collaborating with the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center and the Skateboarding Hall of Fame on a new exhibition, Concrete Wave: Vans at 60 and the Birth of Anaheim’s Skateboard Culture. Curated by Craig R. Stecyk III and Jim Fitzpatrick, the exhibition pulls from Stecyk’s seminal documentation of early skateboard culture and highlights the collaborative effort of the curators alongside Kelly Chidester (Executive Director, Muzeo) and Catherine Acosta (Vans Brand Archivist and Historian). Together, they bring to life a pivotal chapter in Anaheim’s history, and Vans’ own roots, through artifacts and archival access rarely seen by the public. This free, public event will provide a first look at the exhibition. For those unable to attend the opening, the show will remain on view through July 12. Opening Reception Saturday, April 25 4-6pm

Vans supports the launch of Philadelphia’s historic Muni Plaza as a public skate destination as the city officially opens the newly redesigned skatepark, formerly Thomas Paine Plaza. The project marks the first time a major U.S. city has intentionally designed a civic plaza with legal skateboarding as a core function. The redesigned Muni incorporates salvaged granite from Love Park, City Hall, and the original Muni plaza, blended with new granite, along with a central domino skate feature reflecting the numbers 6 and 6 in tribute to Vans’ founding year of 1966, and a subtle checkerboard granite pattern integrated into the surface design. Vans played a central role in bridging the city, design teams, and skate community, supporting the project through funding tied to installation costs for granite materials in partnership with SkatePhilly. A commemorative plaque will also be installed on site recognizing the partnership. The public opening takes place today with a ribbon cutting ceremony and community skate jam. https://lnkd.in/eJUy74cB
