That’s a wrap! 🎥✨ TURNER was proud to help bring a holiday film to life in Destination Door County for our client, Travel Wisconsin — and to celebrate it alongside the community this weekend. 🥳 What began as a conversation in August 2024 became a full-scale production and integrated movie campaign that delivered real impact: 💵$600K in on-the-ground economic impact during production 🏨1,000 hotel room nights generated during the slower March–April season 🏘️The Door County Christmas Movie Trail, spotlighting 10 local businesses, with 2,400 sign-ups, 700 redemptions, and nearly $25K in receipts since launching November 1 📰80+ media placements nationwide, reaching more than 600 million potential travelers 📺Distribution across Great American Media (Great American Family, GFAM+), multiple free streaming platforms including Amazon’s “Always Christmas”, and now the full movie can be seen free on YouTube (more than 145K views in the first 24 hours!) Most importantly, this project shows what’s possible when destinations and filmmakers work hand-in-hand from the very beginning. By shaping the story collaboratively with local partners and the community, A Cherry Pie Christmas has become more than a movie, it’s a shared story that is delivering real economic and cultural impact for Wisconsin. 🥧🎄 And this is just the beginning… In 2026 and with Wisconsin’s newly developed Film Commission, there’s so much more to come, and we’re excited to be a part of this new evolution in the state’s transition to the big (and little) screens. Huge thanks to Travel Wisconsin, Destination Door County, the filmmakers, talent and crew, and the Door County community who made this possible. It takes a village – and sometimes an entire state – to make big things happen!
