In early 2021, i joined TuneCore Indonesia with more questions than answers, but with one belief that never changed: that independent artists in Indonesia deserve a fair chance to be heard, to grow, and to own their journey. Back then, the ecosystem was still finding its shape. Many artists had the talent, but not always the access, the knowledge, or the support system to take that next step. So we started small. Rooms filled with curious musicians. From there, things began to grow. Together with an incredible team and community, we built TuneCore Hub across cities. Jakarta, Makassar, Yogyakarta, Bali bringing the conversation closer to where the culture lives. We collaborated with festivals, partners, and communities. We celebrated small wins, learned from setbacks, and kept showing up. And somewhere along the way, this stopped being just a job. It became a shared mission. A mission shaped by every artist who trusted us with their music. Every conversation that turned into an idea. Every release that carried a piece of Indonesia to the world. Today, I’m deeply honored to share that I’ve been promoted to Head of TuneCore Indonesia A special thank you to Cyrus C., Dahlia Wijaya and Gian Hashemi for the trust, the collaboration, and for being part of this journey from the early days until now. Indonesia’s music story is still being written. And I’m grateful to be a small part of that journey.
