  • 🌟 We’re Tuesday People 🌟 Our We’re Tuesday People campaign highlights the stories, experiences, and passion behind the people who make Tuesday Health what it is every day. Today, we’re honored to spotlight another team member dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care. ✨ Savvy Strode ✨ I was inspired to join Tuesday Health because of its mission to provide meaningful support to patients and families during difficult times. I’ve always been drawn to work where compassion and trust are just as important as clinical skill, and being part of a team that delivers such thoughtful, impactful care is incredibly meaningful to me. 💙 Why Tuesday Health Tuesday Health’s mission aligns deeply with my values. I’m passionate about caring for patients with dignity, patience, and compassion. From personal experience, I understand how important it is for patients and families to feel truly supported during difficult moments. 💫 Personal Connection My grandmother passed away from pancreatic cancer in 1998, before palliative care was as available as it is today. At 19 years old, with a toddler of my own, I became her primary caregiver. I managed her medications, helped bathe and feed her, and did everything I could with the resources and knowledge I had at the time. Looking back, I realize how much support our family was missing. I truly believe that if Tuesday Health had existed then, the guidance, support, and resources available today would have made a meaningful difference for both my grandmother and our family. 🚀 Making an Impact I’m excited to be part of Tuesday Health’s growth in Texas and to continue learning and growing alongside this incredible team. Most importantly, I’m passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and helping create positive experiences for patients, families, and care teams every day. We’re so grateful to have Savvy on Team Tuesday 💙 #WereTuesdayPeople #TeamTuesday #SupportiveCare #PalliativeCare #HealthcareWithHeart

Tuesday Health has grown into a national partner for health plans serving members with serious illness, and today we're recognizing the leaders who built it. Over the past year, Tuesday Health has expanded partnerships with leading payers across the country, delivered measurable clinical and operational outcomes, and built the infrastructure to support complex relationships across multiple markets at scale. Today we're announcing several leadership updates that reflect the strength of our organization: • Ashley Rutter, President & Chief Operating Officer • Mihir M. Kamdar, MD, Chief Medical Officer • Laura Kelly, Chief Financial Officer • Jennifer Rowan Kelleher, Chief Growth Officer • Patrick Forrest, SVP of People Each has been instrumental in shaping the company that Tuesday Health is today. Together, they bring the experience to keep scaling thoughtfully while delivering exceptional care to members and their caregivers.

  • This week, we celebrate the nurses who are at the heart of serious illness care. At Tuesday Health, our nurses do more than deliver care. They build trust, guide complex decisions, support families through uncertainty, and help prevent avoidable hospitalizations through proactive, compassionate care. They are the steady presence for patients and caregivers navigating some of life’s most difficult moments. During National Nurses Week, we recognize the clinical expertise, empathy, and dedication our nurses bring every single day. Their work is essential to delivering high-quality, value-based supportive care. Thank you to our Tuesday Health nurses for everything you do to improve the lives of the patients and families we serve. 💙 Thank a nurse in the comments below! #NursesWeek #SupportiveCare #PalliativeCare #HealthcareHeroes #ValueBasedCare

  • The data on working caregivers is no longer subtle. 53% have missed work because of caregiving. 48% report decreased productivity. 31% say caregiving is the single biggest drain on their work day. 77% of employers are now concerned about how this is affecting their workforce. And here's what's interesting: 6x as many employers are expanding family caregiver benefits as the number reducing them. Serious illness doesn't stay at the hospital door. It walks into homes, into schedules, into payrolls. Employers are waking up to this. Health plans increasingly are, too. The organizations that build real caregiver infrastructure will define the next era of serious illness care. This is a trend to watch. Are you seeing this shift in your plan or employer conversations? What's resonating most? #Caregivers #EmployeeBenefits #PopulationHealth #ValueBasedCare #SeriousIllness

  • We’re proud to be featured in this latest article by Liza Berger in McKnight's Home Care on the growing momentum behind palliative care partnerships. As highlighted, Tuesday Health’s work with Humana reflects a broader shift: earlier, more coordinated supportive care for people living with serious illness. This is where healthcare is heading and we’re honored to be part of it. Read the full article to learn more 👇 https://hubs.la/Q04f1_Nf0 #PalliativeCare #SupportiveCare #ValueBasedCare

  • Advance care planning should not be a one-time conversation. It should be a system-wide standard. A recent example from UC Davis Health shows what’s possible when advance care planning (ACP) is fully integrated into care delivery: • Increased ACP conversations from ~10% to over 70% among older adults • Reduced non-beneficial care • Expanded palliative care and hospice engagement • Cut equity gaps for non-English-speaking patients by more than half The key? A proactive, multidisciplinary approach with dedicated resources and workflows embedded across care settings. At Tuesday Health, we see this every day. These conversations take time, trust, and the right support system. When done well, they provide clarity for patients, reduce burden on families, and ensure care aligns with what matters most. Advance care planning isn’t just a clinical task. It’s foundational to delivering value-based, whole-person care. 🔗 Read more: https://hubs.la/Q04dBksB0 #PalliativeCare #ValueBasedCare #AdvanceCarePlanning #HealthEquity #SeriousIllnessCare

  • Caregivers are one of the most critical, yet under-supported, parts of our healthcare system. A recent study in Nursing Outlook highlights what nurses see every day: meaningful caregiver engagement doesn’t happen by accident. It requires time, presence, clear communication, and the right organizational support. But too often, healthcare systems treat caregiver support as optional rather than essential. The findings reinforce what we believe at Tuesday Health: 💙 Caregiver engagement is relational, not transactional 🤝 It must be supported by the care model, not left to chance 🔃 And it requires continuity beyond the hospital setting When caregivers are equipped and supported, patients experience more stability, fewer crises, and better outcomes at home. That’s why our interdisciplinary care teams don’t just support the patient—we support the entire care ecosystem, including caregivers, every step of the way. Because better care doesn’t happen in isolation. 🔗Read the full study here: https://hubs.la/Q04b3vJG0

  • The people who love you most may one day be asked to make decisions for you. Often in real time. Often without much notice. And one question will matter more than anything else: “What would they have wanted?” On National Healthcare Decisions Day, it’s a meaningful time to start that conversation. Because when wishes are clear, families don’t have to guess. If you’re ready to take the next step, you can also document your wishes using free, state-specific advance directive forms here: https://hubs.la/Q049J_lb0 #NationalHealthcareDecisionsDay #AdvanceCarePlanning #PalliativeCare

  • Starting the conversation is often the hardest part. Advance care planning doesn’t need to begin with forms or formal decisions. It can start with a simple question. A few places to begin: • What matters most to you if your health changes? • What does a good day look like right now? • Are there any treatments you feel strongly about wanting or not wanting? • Who would you trust to make decisions if you couldn’t? You don’t need all the answers, just a place to begin. Learn more: https://hubs.la/Q049K29N0 #AdvanceCarePlanning #PalliativeCare #NationalHealthcareDecisionsDay
