💡 PCOS has a new name: Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome, or PMOS. The change reflects a growing understanding that this condition is not just about ovarian cysts, but a complex hormonal and metabolic condition that can affect weight, insulin resistance, reproductive health, skin, and mental health. We examined GLP-1 prescribing among women with PCOS and found that prescriptions for semaglutide or tirzepatide increased from 2.4% in 2021 to 17.6% in 2025: over a 7-fold increase 📈 As PCOS becomes PMOS, understanding the metabolic dimensions of the condition is so important, and how real-world evidence can help track changing care patterns over time. 🔗 Learn more: https://tr.vet/4tR8ASy

🫀 Most patients with newly identified heart failure are not receiving the recommended follow-up heart function assessment, despite clinical guidelines calling for reassessment and treatment optimization. A new study from Truveta Research and collaborators at Yale School of Medicine, Yale New Haven Hospital, and Duke University School of Medicine published in JAMA Network Open analyzed data from more than 340,000 adults with newly documented heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). One key finding: only 33.8% of patients received repeat echocardiography within one year of diagnosis, even though follow-up assessment is critical for guiding long-term care and treatment decisions. 🔗 Learn more: https://tr.vet/4dIiHDr

Clinical AI is accelerating access to medical evidence in powerful ways. But clinicians also need answers grounded in the experiences of patients who resemble the ones sitting in front of them. In this piece, Truveta President and Chief Scientific Officer Johnathan M. Lancaster, MD PhD explores why the future of clinical decision support will combine published literature with real-world data—bringing together published literature and real-time insights from Truveta Intelligence to help clinicians get faster, more contextual answers at the point of care.
The future of clinical AI has to combine published evidence with real-world data. New AI tools are changing how physicians access the literature, but the next step is bringing that evidence into context with patients who actually look like the ones we treat every day.

At Truveta Symposium 2026, we unveiled Truveta Intelligence: a new, AI-powered experience that delivers real-time insights from continuously refreshed, real-world data in minutes, not months. We sat down with team members from across the organization to ask them about how Intelligence can help shorten timelines between question and answer. With each answer, you get data-backed intelligence built on the 130 million patient records in Truveta Data. Learn more: https://tr.vet/435Ihgv
