We spent an inspiring evening celebrating Earth Day alongside Environmental Working Group and Mika Brzezinski surrounded by individuals who share a commitment to a cleaner, healthier future. It was a pleasure connecting with such a thoughtful community and contributing to an important conversation about recognizing our value as women, as leaders, and as advocates for the environment and collective well-being. We were especially proud to see our founder Hillary Peterson speak and share her perspective on leading with purpose and integrity.

We have some bittersweet news to share: Our amazing CEO Sandy Saputo is retiring this month after nearly 40 years in beauty. Over the past six years, she's guided True Botanicals through incredible transformation and growth while always leading with kindness and grace. From your True Team, thank you for all the wisdom you've shared and the care you've shown each of us. We're so excited for your next chapter. We will miss you! [Mill Valley, CA] — [April 13, 2026] — Sandy Saputo, Chief Executive Officer of True Botanicals, will retire this month following a 38-year career in the beauty industry. Saputo is a seasoned leader known for building and scaling influential brands, including Bare Escentuals and Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, and for her ability to drive brand vision with operational excellence. Reflecting on her career, Saputo said: “The beauty industry has been an extraordinary part of my life. While my role was to build brands, my purpose was always to build people—mentoring and empowering teams to achieve more than I ever could myself.” Saputo joined True Botanicals six years ago, steering the brand through a transformative period of growth and evolution. “It has been a privilege to work alongside founder Hillary Peterson and our all-female Board. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help build a brand with such strong purpose and impact, and I look forward to seeing it continue to thrive.” Peterson adds, “Under Sandy’s leadership, the brand expanded its presence, advanced its position as a leader in luxury skincare, and solidified its commitment to environmental responsibility. She leaves the company well-positioned for continued momentum and long-term growth.”  A successor will be announced in due course.
