The Trinity Metro Board of Directors voted unanimously this week to approve a seven-year contract renewal for President & CEO Richard Andreski. Over the last four years, Trinity Metro has continued advancing major mobility initiatives across Fort Worth and Tarrant County, from the launch of the color-coded line system designed to simplify transit and improve the rider experience, to preparing for transformative projects like the TEXRail Medical District extension and TRE double-track expansion. The agency has also continued strengthening service reliability, regional partnerships, and its national presence within the transit industry. We’re excited for the future ahead as Trinity Metro continues working to expand mobility, support economic development, and connect people across one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions.

Trinity Metro was thrilled to be recognized as Fort Worth Independent School District's Partner of the Year last evening during an inspirational gathering that also acknowledged the dedication of FWISD teachers that go above and beyond in their profession. Trinity Metro and FWISD partnered to form a pilot program in which FWISD high school students ride Trinity Metro bus, rail and paratransit services free of charge. This program expands access to after-school programs, job opportunities, as well as improves attendance. FWISD + Trinity Metro = A+ Results!

Last night Tarleton State University unveiled its Fort Worth master plan, offering a first look at the vision for a growing higher education hub in the city. The plans reflect Fort Worth’s continued momentum bringing together education, research, and community in one place and strengthening connections to the broader district. Trinity Metro was proud to be part of the plaza presence, with our CEO, Rich Andreski, and several board members in attendance supporting this milestone. As Fort Worth continues to grow, transit will play an important role in connecting students, faculty, and the community to this emerging campus and the opportunities it brings.

Every day, people across Tarrant County are headed somewhere - to work, to school, to the airport, and back home. And they’re getting there together. Today, April 17, we’re celebrating World Public Transport Day, a global reminder that public transportation connects us to more than just places. It connects people to opportunity, to community, and ultimately connecting people to life. From the morning commute to a flight out of DFW, each trip plays a part in something larger: a more connected, accessible, and sustainable region. If you’re riding today, let us know in the comments. Join the celebration and share where transit is taking you. Because it’s not just one day, it’s millions of journeys, including yours. #WorldPublicTransportDay #PublicTransit

⭐Meet Team Trinity Metro: Tamara Trying something new can be intimidating, but Tamara made it easy. When a rider used the GoPass app for the first time, Tamara stepped in with patience, kindness, and guidance every step of the way. Exceptional service starts with small moments and Tamara Davis exemplifies that. Her dedication to customer service reflects the standard we strive to provide across Trinity Metro. 👏 Thank you, Tamara, for making a difference.

Trinity Metro held its inaugural Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 24, bringing together leaders from across the region. Hearing our President and CEO, Rich Andreski, speak so passionately about the promise and possibility of transit was truly inspiring. He shared a clear vision for what’s ahead, from breaking ground on a second track for Trinity Railway Express and extending TEXRail to the Near Southside and Medical District, to introducing new Stadler FLIRT trains and launching La Línea Rosa, our third color-coded line. More importantly, his message reinforced that investing in transit is about more than transportation. It’s about connecting people to education, healthcare, tourism and economic opportunity and amplifying the impact of everything our city has to offer. It was energizing to see so many community leaders in the room, engaged and excited about what’s ahead. Thank you to our sponsor, Stadler Rail, and to Mayor Mattie Parker for joining us and sharing her perspective. And a special thank you to our board of directors, elected officials, business leaders and community advocates who continue to lean in and support this work. We were proud to host this milestone event in the beautiful and historic Fort Worth T&P Station, a cornerstone of Fort Worth’s transit network.

From the first shift on, it was our way of saying thank you to the people who keep Fort Worth moving every day. We are grateful for the dedication and commitment our teams bring to their work, today and every day.
