A new era for student-athlete performance, wellness, and connection. With today's official ribbon cutting on the Thomas A. Fanning Student-Athlete Performance Center at Georgia Institute of Technology, the new 100,000 SF facility brings together strength and conditioning, sports medicine, nutrition, sports analytics, and football operations within a unified, high-performance environment designed to support the holistic student-athlete experience. Located at the northeast corner of Bobby Dodd Stadium, the new facility provides an indoor/outdoor space on gameday as well as unmatched views of the Midtown skyline year-round. As we celebrate #NursesWeek, SLAM is proud to honor the people and the environments shaping the next generation of caregivers. At Georgia Southern University, that commitment comes to life through SLAM’s design of their 63,250 SF Health Professions Academic Building. Transcending a traditional classroom, nurses are supported by human-centered learning and through integrated clinical simulation environments. This Nurses Week, we celebrate not only the dedication of future nurses, but the spaces that inspire them to grow.

In response to heightened demand and community needs, SLAM supported UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies with architectural services for the opening of Pavilion 1, a five-story expansion designed to elevate care through intentional, patient-centered spaces. From trauma units to outpatient radiology, the facility prioritizes healing, flexibility, and long-term adaptability.
