Pasha Hawaii was recognized for consistently making safety a priority at the Chamber of Shipping of America (CSA)'s 58th Annual Devlin and Safety Achievement Awards on May 4, 2026 in New Orleans. 39 companies and several VIPs attended the event to celebrate seafarers and companies of 1,157 vessels with 8,075 years of operation without a lost time incident. Sean Kline, CSA’s President and CEO said: “Safe operation is critical to the success of our industry. As a staunch advocate for safety across the industry, CSA is proud to publicly recognize the skills and dedication of the women and men at sea and shoreside who tirelessly strive for the safety of all onboard, and whose actions to support safety are keeping with the highest traditions of the sea – aid to those in peril.” George Pasha, President and CEO, Pasha Hawaii added: “We are incredibly proud of our officers, crew, and operations teams at Pasha Hawaii for their commitment to safety and environmental stewardship, both at sea and ashore. Last week, Business Development Manager Chuck Camp and President of the Board of Commissioners for JCPA Greg Williams traveled to Los Angeles to meet with Daniel Rowlands, Senior Vice President for The Pasha Group, to officially sign a Joint Operations Marketing Agreement. This agreement is another important step in strengthening our partnerships and expanding maritime opportunities with key industry leaders. The collaboration is expected to enhance operational coordination, support future cargo growth, and reinforce Port Pascagoula’s role as a critical gateway for domestic and international commerce.

Pasha’s Reno Employee Community Action Team joined Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB Reno) for the Great Community Clean Up, one of the largest community cleanup events in the Reno/Sparks area. Our team was assigned to the Rosewood Nature Study Area, one of 26 sites included in the event where 788 volunteers removed over 273 tons of trash and 60 tons of green waste.   This initiative is a major preventative clean up that helps to prevent fires in the summer. The community's focus on illegal dump sites removes potential fire hazards and supports park and waterway restoration. ⚓Pasha was proud to support the inaugural Maritime Spring Fling hosted by the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association, celebrating San Francisco’s rich maritime heritage.   One of the most inspiring moments of the afternoon was hearing from Alana McGillis, Lead Boat Building Educator, who shared the powerful impact of SFMNPA’s youth boatbuilding programs for Bay Area students, including hands-on experience for high schoolers from Bayview-Hunters Point who, despite growing up near the Bay, may have never had the opportunity to get out on the water. 🌉   The event also honored Jack Lapidos with the inaugural “Salty Dog Award” and the Fisherman's Wharf Community Benefit District with the Maritime Community Award for their lasting contributions to San Francisco’s waterfront community. 🌊   Kudos to the SFMNPA team for bringing the community together to help keep #MaritimeHeritage alive.   #CareersInMaritime #EmpowerYouth #IntheCommunity
