Today marks a major milestone as we are proud to officially unveil our new global headquarters at 2 Penn Plaza in New York City, a space designed to reflect the growth, ambition, and future of our league. A purpose-built, technology-enabled hub that brings together our people, our clubs, and the game itself, every detail reflects who we are as a league with key features including: ◾ 126,000 sq ft across two floors ◾ 80+ meeting and collaboration spaces ◾ Designed around an “office as a stadium” concept inspired by the game ◾ Home to MLS’ Match Day Center Operations Hub ◾ Integrated digital signage with real-time sports data ◾ Tunnel-inspired arrival experience with dynamic lighting and customizable digital moments ◾ Tifo-inspired installations, club moments, and curated artifacts reinforcing our league’s connection to its communities, players, and fans Symbolizing a pivotal transition for MLS, the new headquarters is a celebration of three decades of building the sport’s foundation. Shoutout to Gina Prodan Kelly and the entire Cleveland Professional Soccer group on unveiling Forest City Cleveland as the city’s new professional club identity. The brand feels resilient, ambitious and uniquely Cleveland. Excited to see Forest City Cleveland take the field in MLS NEXT Pro in 2027 and to watch this identity grow into a badge of pride for players, partners and fans across Northeast Ohio. Huge credit to the ownership team for setting such a strong foundation for the club’s next chapter on and off the pitch. https://lnkd.in/ehjn4VDK

Sports is quickly becoming a defined, financeable asset class – and the most interesting risk‑adjusted entry point may not be the top leagues, but the next tier down. MLS NEXT Pro offers investors a chance to back professionally run, multi‑asset platforms (stadiums, local media, sponsorship, player trading) before valuations fully reflect that shift. The latest Deloitte Football Money League dropped some really useful signals for projects *outside* the Big Five—especially for something The Island F.C.'s MLS NEXT Pro club and our mixed‑use facility at Mitchel Athletic Complex. A few things that jumped out: - The biggest clubs are now clearly "commercial‑first" businesses. Media money matters, but the real growth is in sponsorship, brand, retail, and how they use their venues 365 days a year. - Stadiums are no longer “just where the game is played.” They’re breweries, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment districts wrapped around a pitch. That’s exactly the opportunity for a purpose‑built, right‑sized soccer venue on Long Island. - Matchday is growing fastest, not just through more seats, but through better products: premium experiences, memberships/PSLs, and curated fan environments that drive spend per head—not just attendance. - The top clubs are taking control of their own destiny: leveraging IP, direct‑to‑fan content, and global/local partner ecosystems rather than waiting for the next media rights deal to save the day. For The Island F.C. and our 2,500–5,000 seat stadium in Uniondale, the implication is clear: we shouldn’t think like a “lower‑division team renting a field.” We need to behave like a multi‑asset sports and entertainment platform that happens to have an MLS NEXT Pro club at its core. That means: - Designing the venue from day one for non‑matchday events (tournaments, concerts, viewing parties, community programming). - Building a partner ladder tied to the physical campus (naming rights, stands, academy, community pitches, etc.). - Crafting a place‑based brand—Long Island’s home of football—that partners want to be visibly associated with year‑round. As FIFA World Cup 2026™ - Canada, Mexico and the United States approaches and soccer interest spikes in the U.S., projects like ours are in the best position to capture the upside. https://lnkd.in/exhJzDQQ

Youth sports is no longer just a weekend pastime – it’s a $40 billion industry shaped increasingly by private equity and big media. As money pours in, the risk grows that access shrinks for many and opportunity concentrates for a few. As a partner of a major youth sports training organization (The Island F.C.), I believe our role is to stand in that gap by: - Keeping elite development genuinely accessible, not only for those who can afford premium travel and fees. - Being transparent with families about the odds of going pro, while fully backing each athlete’s growth. - Building programs where success is measured in life skills, wellbeing, and long-term participation – not just scholarships and contracts. #MLSNext #MLSNEXTPro #AllForTheIsland https://lnkd.in/eevgTveW

Youth sports are racing toward more pressure, more money and more one-on-one trainers for kids as young as 8—usually with no coordination. At The Island F.C., we built the opposite on purpose. Families are stitching together club, school and private training with no unified plan, which is exactly how you get overuse, early specialization and burnout. At The Island FC, we offer one integrated ecosystem—professional coaching, sports science and medical oversight under a single badge—so any “extra” training fits into a smart, long‑term development plan. If you believe youth sports should be both high‑performance and human, that’s what we’re building at The Island FC. www.TheIslandFC.com https://lnkd.in/eTY2iV6s
