  • 📣 We're hiring! TFG is looking for a Grants Research Analyst who: ✅ Gets genuinely excited about connecting clients with funding that creates real impact ✅ Asks questions, digs deeper, and isn't satisfied stopping at the surface ✅ Takes feedback, applies it fast, and gets better with every project ✅ Shows up prepared, follows through, and owns their work — no hand-holding required ✅ Uses AI and technology to think smarter, not to skip the thinking altogether ✅ Thrives under high expectations and treats challenges as the job, not obstacles to it Apply here: https://lnkd.in/eHUrM-Ed

  • Do you have infrastructure needs? Does your community support a military installation? If the answer to both is yes, there's $230 million in federal funding with your name on it and the application window to apply is open right now! The FY 2026 Defense Community Infrastructure Program (DCIP) funds community-owned infrastructure projects that benefit a nearby military installation. If your community needs water and wastewater systems, roads, schools, hospitals, emergency response facilities, telecommunications, or energy infrastructure and you support a military installation, your projects may qualify. Program details: 📌 FY 2026 Defense Community Infrastructure Program (DCIP) 💰 $230 million total available 🏆 Awards from $250,000 – $20 million 🔄 30% cost share — waived for rural communities (under 100K population) 🗓 Application deadline: June 25, 2026 Eligible applicants are state and local governments. Not-for-profit, member-owned utilities can participate as sub-recipients. This is the kind of program where the conversation should start early because coordination and alignment with the military installation is a must. If you're wondering whether your project and your community could be a fit, we're happy to talk it through. Reach out directly or visit the link in our profile to access our full DCIP Program Profile. #DCIP #DefenseCommunityInfrastructure #FederalGrants #InfrastructureFunding #LocalGovernment #MilitaryInstallations #GrantFunding #TheFergusonGroup

  • $1.9 billion in federal grid funding is now available and the window to act is short! The Department of Energy just released the FY 2026 Speed to Power through Accelerated Reconductoring and other Key Advanced Transmission Technology Upgrades (SPARK) program, replacing the former Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnerships (GRIP) program and opening three topic areas for organizations working to modernize and strengthen the electric grid. 🔹 Grid Resilience | $10M–$100M per award | Concept Paper: April 2 | Full App: May 20, 2026 🔹 Smart Grid | $10M–$50M per award | Concept Paper: April 2 | Full App: May 20, 2026 🔹 Grid Innovation | $100M–$250M per award | Concept Paper: April 2 | Full App: May 20, 2026 This isn't just a rebranded GRIP. There are meaningful considerations in this round that will affect how organizations should approach their applications — from cost share structures for small utilities, to transfer capability thresholds, to new restrictions on eligible project types and costs. Understanding those nuances early isn't just helpful. It's the difference between a concept paper that opens doors and ultimately feeds in to a competitive and successful full application. Here's what our track record on the first two rounds of this program looks like: 🔹 32% — TFG client award ratio (vs. 12% nationally) 🔹 92% — TFG concept papers that received encouragement to submit a full application 🔹 $360M — Secured for TFG clients, representing 5% of all GRIP funding awarded across two rounds Those numbers reflect years of tracking how this program has evolved, what DOE rewards, how evaluation criteria shift cycle to cycle, and how to build a concept paper and full application that work together as a unified strategy. The concept paper deadline is April 2, with full applications due May 20. The time to start is NOW! 📩 If you'd like to talk through whether your project is a good fit, reach out at info@thefergusongroup.com. #SPARK #GRIP #GridResilience #FederalGrants #EnergyInfrastructure #SmartGrid #GridModernization #DOE #AdvancedTransmission #GrantFunding
